    Hi
Help with the timer. I have now tested the machine and on most programs it seems to stop but with the door locked and program not finished. In a previous post I was told the timer is duff. Now does the new timer include the whole part or can I change just the synchronious motor. As in, is it the whole module or just the motor? Also Penguin 45 sent me a lnik to uk whitegoods site timer as it is not on the web site, could you send this agin please as all my emails got deleted! ( the new bearings are great, silence!!!)

Penguin45 wrote:It’ll be the timer at fault. These machines use a motorised selector switch or “timer” to tell the computer what to do. Random running round and failure to complete are classic problems. P/no 91201337, spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly.

I took the synchronous motor off the timer unit when getting the drum out. Now the baby turned the knob during the work so I put it back to where I thought it should be and re attached the synch motor to the timer unit. Does this matter or will the program knob be dialing in a different program?

The splines on the end of the timer shaft should ensure that it fits in the correct position, they are different sizes.
