    Cost alone would make that a non starter, that would cost umpteen times the very low cost of concrete balance weights.

    There are two problems I see with that.

    1. Emptying it to move the machine – How much water will it need to contain (how many KG’s is the usual lump of concrete x litres).

    Now how are you going to empty this without it going all over the floor?

    2. Swell – The water container would need to be segmented (like they do with the hulls of ships) to prevent the water matching the “frequency” of the machine and exagerating the swaying of the machine.

    Think of the bridge in america that collapsed during a gale as the wind was blowing at its resonant frequency.

    Always remember.. if something sounds too good to be true…. 😆

    Sand would be better though i guess.
