    Re: 60hz pump

Have you tried a normal 50 hertz pump? I would have thought it would just turn faster at 60 hertz.

    thanks for reply

    have tried 50hz pump

the old type shaded pole motor pumps are ok but the new synchronous type will not start would try and find old type of pump but am not sure pcb components will take extra load and inductance

    Re: 60hz pump

We have to get pumps and TD motors in specially for that application, they’re a pain on ships but we do it on ISE10.

So far as I know anything you order in the UK will be 50Hz to comply with UK mains. The Yanks use 60Hz but you’re down to 110V.

Not a lot of help but I think you’ll struggle with getting one. 😕

You can always fit a relay if you want to protect the board from overload. I thought they did have a higher voltage in the States as well as the 110 volts? 😕
