ParticipantI know I should give a model number, but I could not find it anywhere that was easy to see. I’m guessing that it must be on the back of the machine which needs the door dismantling to fetch it out.
I’ve taken some pictures of it in the hope that someone may be able to point me in the right direction.
Oh, the problem is that the central pipe attachment has come off. I can’t see what is the problem because it doesn’t look as though any part has broken. Would you mind looking at the pictures to see if you can see anything obvious ?

Thanks for any help you can give.

I can nearly read it from here ! 😉 on the top edge of the door the stainless edge there are all the details etched into the metal. See the label with calgonit and Finish on go 4 ” to the right and there it is 😯 .
The middle picture with the top spray arm is where the fault will be,either it’s just come unclipped from beneath the upper basket or a retaining lug has broken off,you probably would be better off removing the top basket and turning it over to refit the spray arm assembly, examine the end we can’t see to see if any lugs are broken off, everything else seems to look ok.Clean machine 🙂

Good grief sp, you’re right… why didn’t I see that when I was there right in front of the machine ? I’ll go and visit again to see what the model number is.
Er yes… I noticed the cleanliness too. Nowt to do with me, I’m acting as a sort of landlord’s agent here. The tenant has reported the faulty machine and being of some experience in these matters I thought I’d have a go at seeing if I can sort it out… with a little bit of help from friends here at WGF 🙂

Luckily, I managed to catch the tenant in when I called by this afternoon.
The model number is SGV4313GB/13
Also, I’ve got the broken part and have found that the bright red pieces inside the arm are loose which I’m thinking means there is an absence of a spring to hold the clips in place. What do you think ?

No spring, the red piece is meant to “float”. If you’re trying to attach the spray arm to the feeder tube at the rear, then you’re barking up the wrong tree 😉
The arm attaches directly to the top basket. There is a clip that fastens to the rear of the basket and a tonge that holds it to the centre of the basket.
HTH.

🙂 well no wonder you’re a top poster and I’m a regular user…
I can see it clearly now. So when the drawer closes, it pushes the red clip bit against the outlet on the back for the water to be forced through.
Well, its good to know that there might be nowt broken after all.
Thank you very much for your help.
