    Any of you guys and girls out there CDA repair agents?
    I have been one for about a year now. At first, the work was flooding in, and continued to do so up to christmas.
    Since Christmas, not had 1 job…..
    Spoke to their customer care department who I got to know quite well over the phone, and they all say that agents are still in use.
    Perhaps I have done something wrong? I have been reasured by the team leader that I havn’t so perhaps agents have been knocked on the head due to the financial climate?
    Anyone out there in simular shoes?

    Yep known for some time they were doing this. They have had their own engineers who do most of the work now for several months.

    They only now use indies for overflow, out of populated areas, cover holidays, or cr*p their engineers dont want to or cant do.

    Told about this months ago, had a letter recently confirming this. They still want indies as agents, want us to update our profile and lnforming me of what they will pay us for in guarantee work and out.

    There’s that, but…

    There’s also a HUGE drop off in new installation work in the built-in market ATM and I don’t suppose that will be doing CDA any favours since that’s the mainstay of their business.

    It’s not just CDA, others have seen sales drop off a cliff as well as of about August last year. Six months later, drop off in service work in that arena.

    This feedback makes me feel better, I have been racking my brain to think of a job thats gone wrong without me knowing and them not saying (although I think they would have).
    Well, at least Im not the only on in the boat. Just praying it comes back.

    same boat here i,m afraid.september last year all my work stopped with one certain company,but this has given me a wake up call not to put all my eggs in one basket,once your services are no longer required these companies drop you without any hesitation,better off sourcing your own customers and building up your own reputation. 🙂 🙂

    Not giving work to the agents they have already but still takeing on more,
    wonderful idea 😡
