Our new Bosch Classixx SGS45C02GB06 dishwasher has been leaking since soon after it was delivered.
Although it is still under warranty, because we are on the West Coast of Scotland, getting a Bosch engineer out is proving problematic. We have had one visit which seemed initially to solve the problem; however, the leaks returned shortly afterwards, albeit on an intermittent basis. Very frustrating as we have not been able to use it and have had to turn off the water supply to the machine. I should add that the flood water appears to be clear, ie not waste water.
The engineer is due to return in the next couple of weeks. Do you have any advice to enable us to be fore armed?

Now that area must be quite a nice spot to be an engineer.Is there a leak when the machine is not being used ?or is it just

Absolutely, a license to print money if you ask me!
Every time the machine has leaked it has not been running. When in use, it has always seemed fine. Used in the evening ok, next morning there would be nothing then all of a sudden the machine would dump a small pool of fresh water on the floor, maybe a pint or 2.
Have you something in mind?

It sounds like a leak from the inlet hose connection.
Do you have a high water pressure?
Is it possible to pull the machine out into the middle of the room whilst it is still fully connected to the plumbing?
If it is then run a cycle like that and leave it for a while, my guess is that you may find the screw on hose connector leaking.
