Guys, just thinking…

Some of you will know, as you’re mods, that I’m putting in a system to allow trade sales on UKW in the next couple of weeks. This is because we keep getting harassed about it, quite a number of people have asked and we carry or can get things that others either can’t or are at silly prices.

My thinking is to offer TA members a little extra discount.

This is not because that we want the business as, TBH, I’d rather that people used the traditional trade suppliers as we don’t want the hassle, but more as a political move to push the TA.

However, extend that.

I know that MP talked about it and were prepared to offer TA members a little bit more off, did we ever chase that down?

Next in my thinking was to ask HTM, Homespare and Qualtex if they wanted to do similar. I am more than happy to approach them if you like as I obviously know people at each.

Even if only one or two go for it, it has to be a good thing for the TA, no?
