first call on this was poor wash. i found it was not heating and narrowed it down to a faulty thermistor. now the new thermistor is in the machine it heats ok but the customer says it just keeps washing for hours.
with such an electronic machine i would expect some sort of error code.
any help would be good before i blame that expensive pcb.Re: aeg dishwasher keeps washing
Maybe there’s a burnt relay terminal on the board causing intermittent heater operation?

there is a seperate relay for the heater that looks ok, i think the board switches through triacs.

Is it the sort of relay where you can either see the contacts through a clear cover or get access to them by popping the cover off?
I’d say it was worth close investigation if not yet done.

(Just, I hope, fixed a Merloni F08 where the relay checked out fine on test but had half burnt contacts inside; so it’s my favourite fault at the mo.).
