Motor brushes etc in good condition, no other obvious physical faults.

When the On/Off switch is depressed the ready light does not come on ( as it does with the ISE 5 Beko). no lights come on at all.

The light will only come on when you press the start button, then the wash or spin light comes on as well and machine then starts to drain but will do nothing else but drain.

I suspect the PCB but am always open to a second opinion. 😀

.i am sure you did this but just in case.did you try to cancel by keeping start button pressed as i have had customers telling me its not working only to find she had started another cycle and not cancelled it.other than that its the pcb.

Believe me, after almost three years of working with the ISE 5 CI555WH BEKO based machine that was the first thing I tried. 😉

Whenever I get a fault like that I’m reminded of those couple of rare occasions when I found a short circuit water valve. Of course this only applies where the valve is in series with the pump.

Thanks Mike, worth looking at but doesn’t really explain why the ready light won’t come on when the On/Off button is pressed. ❓

    Will keep you posted. 😉

Update, it was the module at fault. 8)
