    I’m trying to source a thermostat with a VT9 shape body which will operate on air temp as opposed to evap temp,it’s for a spurious commerial DAVLEX,can’t get emails answered etc.
    I have seen on some fridges in the past where a thermostat phial senses the air temp and not the evap to maintain a cabinet temp average of 4centigradeanyone know of avaulability or something that would suit.
    There are universal ones but they have such a wide scale ie 30+ to 30- that they are very difficult to set up.
    Last line of hope is to fit an LAE digital but means altereing cabinet so to be avoided if poss.

    Hi can’t you fit a bottle cooler thermostat they work by air temp Whirlpool do one its a universal kit W7 on/off +3/-5 on/off +11/+5 with 2000mm capillary, hope this helps. Pete

    Danfoss no 8 is a bottle cooler stat but clamps to the evap but I’ll look into those whirlpool ones ,thaks

    zanussi do a air cooler stat as well , dont know the model though
