I know these come in two types; one has the seal ring sitting in a groove in the pump body
The other has no groove and the ring sits on the back face of the pump body.
What I need to know is, are these interchangeable?
I’ve tried to fit the groove type to the other type and so much pressure was required I felt the casing would break.
    Thanks

    Thanks funkyboogy,will try that.
The impeller has lost two of its vanes so that idea should work.
