dishwasher will not take in water, have cleaned all filters, check all tubes and pipes. It works as normal as if there is water in the dishwasher, goes through its cycles etc. i handfilled with water and it even pumps it out.? any more ideas? There are parts on the side of the machine that i do not know what their purpose is as the manual doesnt go into that much detail. Any help will be appreciated.. tks

Inlet valve failure also possible.
Power off if you intend to do this yourself.
