Looking at buying one of the about dishwashers, cant find out much about them and i was wondering if anyone can shed some light on it for me.

It’s still a pile of Chinese carp. Last recorded (ie, we could get our hands on) failure rate for Haier-built dishwashers was 84{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} in the first year. It’s cheap for two reasons. Firstly, they can’t sell the things. This is partly because people take the time to put ‘chinese AND dishwasher’ into the search engine on the site and recoil, appalled, at the results. Secondly, they try to give them away as clearance stock.
