Electrolux group washer/dryers gunked up condensors.

Been to a few late AEG/Zanussi washer dryers aborting drying after 20 mins or so, the clear plastic condensor duct down the side is usually always just needing a good blast with with the garden hose to shift the usual gunk.

Trouble is, it seems a fairly short time before i get yet another call to do the same thing & find them all gunked up again.
Anyone know if theres a mod for this design flaw, an improved, more open condensor duct or whatever ? 😯 Cheers.
