    Model 44AW

    If I hold the start button in the machine will run but stops as soon as I let go.

    My guess is the relay is faulty.

    Does anyone know the part number please. 🙂

    Sorry don’t have a part number for you Jim but can confirm that the relay board is at fault in this case. 🙂

    Edit: Just looked up the model on Connect…… 🙁

    Flippin eck, and this on a budget appliance. Shame is it belongs to an old dear who lives alone, very lightly used dryer not that old either. :rolls:

    Join the two browns – it’ll start and stop on the door switch.

    Ahem. That Connect part £38.04 to me. 😛 .
    Jim, have you had a dekko at it? Some very ordinary looking relays on there.

    I smell another connect prices thread in th offing. 👿

    Didn’t have a close look at the PCB, even £38 is a rip off for a tiny board like that.
