Hi to everyone and here’s hoping for some help.
I have a AEG B2100-4-M built in oven approx 3 years old.
It seems to have a clock issue as it keeps re-setting it’self at all different times and when it has re-set it buzzes quite loud.
Have re-set it countless times but it does not last.
    The PNC = 944 185 200.
Hope someone may be able to help.
    Cheers in advance.

Likely to be one of two things…either you have a loose connection in the supply to the cooker or clock, or the clock itself is faulty.

Probably the only way to find the fault is to use a multimeter and do a ‘wiggle’ test.

Power off at all times please :zap:

    Hi and thanks for reply.
Have checked the wire at the spur fitting (wall) and all seems ok.
Guess i will have to open the unit and check that end.
Oven works fine until the clock re-sets so looking like a faulty clock.

Re: AEG Oven with clock fault

what was the upshot of this problem, I have exactly the same problem on the same model that is more or less the same age, have just been looking at the price of new timers and would hate to waste £60+ if it isn’t going to fix the prolem. Any advice is gratefully received as the buzzing is driving me insane and the timer going off at all random times is playing havoc with meal times 🙂

If it’s this timer unit, it’s a pretty common one to fail so I wouldn’t be shocked.

It’s also about the only component that can cause that sort of problem.
