    hi,

    WTA3100GB/09

customer has snapped the timer knob off her t/d.
said before it came off it wasn’t engaging the timer and just spinning round without moving the timer.
i haven’t worked on the timer knob of one of these before.
had a quick look and couldn’t see an obvious way of getting the consol off at the front to replace the knob and gear behind it.
    any help much appreciated.

Dead easy job and very commonplace you’ll find. Firstly you’ll need 154956 timer knob kit to sort. 😉

The fascia panel can easily be removed by easing out the push-in lugs at the top as well as a gentle screwdriver nudge of the two latches at the bottom of the fascia panel (seen with the door open). The whole fascia comes away with the drive shaft intact. Replace the knob kit, relocate the drive shaft then offer the fascia back into the front having carefully aligned the D shaft timer.

    HTH? 😀
