    Hi
    Went to look at this d/w customer said that it came up fault code E2 she put salt in and it was ok about 1 week later it came up E4 and full of water i found the float switch had been activated and drain pump jamed,
    Removed glass from pump. Refitted d/w [intergrated] tested will not start on light comes on all lights flash for a spit second but will not select programe. The only wires disturbed were the pump wires, If the pump was o/s or faulty connection would i get this fault. It is just over 1 year old Can any one help

    The programmes cannot be selected if the door lock is in the “door shut” position. It’s a common fault on these oriental Indesit clones. The door lock flips over when the door is shut quickly. Flick it back with a small screwdriver.
    Look for that first. 😉
