Waherdryer with no heat. All cutouts, etc have a ciruit but not sure of what the resistance of front thermistor should be? No fault codes show up and there apears to be no neutral up to the dryer apart from at the blower motor. Any ideas/pcb?

    Thanks PNC 914601605

Attach meter leads to thermistor and see whether resistance changes as you warm it up with hairdryer or in cup of hot water. They usually take 30 seconds to warm enough to respond with the hair dryer, quicker with the water. I think it’s a long shot anyway. More likely a wiring/connection broken/loose somewhere.

    Not quite so simple……………………………..

Left the machine and all seemed to be fine. Got a call today, no heat in the dryer again and also a couple of the option buttons/lights will not opperate. Are we looking a t a board/pair of boards?

I doubt it. Have you looked at the thermistor attached to the bottom condenser hose? Is the condenser fluff free? Does inlet valve coil to the dryer check out OK and water flows into the condenser?

If you give me your email address I can send you the service manual. (Just remind me of the model number when you pm me though.)
