ParticipantHave a Hotpoint WT721 the original fault was that the whole display kept flashing, (I was told this is a power fault on the main PCB)
I fitted a replacement main PCB this cured that fault now I do not get any motor action, have checked motor and fitted new brushes, checked pressure switch it’s not stuck in the full positionand seems to work ok.
On the facia board the spin led does not light and I did get f18 com error, so tried another main PCB still the same no motor action.
I have had the wiring loom out and checked for any brakes and continuity all ok there.
Is there something I am missing?
Any help much appreciated

Welcome to the complicated world of Inde£${e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}t, WT721/1 screwed drum requires eeprom part n/o 1605723 or smart card C00268009, the WT721/2 welded drum FHP motor you require eeprom C00195434 or smart card C000268011, if it is a Ceset motor it is eeprom C00196858 and smart card C00286013, F18 is 3 phase motor fault, as it is not a 3 phase machine i would guess it has the wrong programe for that machine, screwed drums spin clockwise and welded anticlockwise i hope this helps, i’m starting to get confused myself now cheersJJ.

Both the PCB’s were from EMW and both cured the original fault and on both boards there was an F18 also no motor action and the spin led did not light.
Thanks for the information JJ I am sure it will come in usefulBernie

As there is 3 varaints, i would guess the pcb’s you are getting from EMW are the wrong one for the machine you have, i’ve programed machines thinking it was the right files i’ve dowloaded only to realise later it was the wrong one, its a nightmare trying to figure out which is which at times.
