This has been a topic before, I only use genuine ones now because of the failure rate of patterned ones.

When I worked for BSH there elements on new appliances were failing within first year.Sometimes multiple calls before end of guarantee. :rolls:

When you look at the pattern to genuine, most are identical.

I`m not saying large companies are using cheaper parts to save costs though. 😆

They`d never sell Balay products at the price level of Bosch. 😆

when I can I’m now fitting connect ELE9036 if I can, its 2300watt but costs over twice as much but seem much more reliable so no call backs………….yet! the extra cost is worth it as far as I’m concerned as it keeps the customer happy and is an easy profitable little job.
