Am i right in thinking this is no water flow detected? Mod is ADP8322, havnt been to it yet but cust says it literally hasnt been used, having been in storage for several years from new, while they renovated their tumbledown house. assure me it IS getting water, but apparently runs pump for 40 secs & then beep, beep with start button flash x 6.

    Thanks, Eddie.

Maybe the infamous flow meter has simply stuck through lack of use in which case giving it a good ‘shake’ might wake it up 😆

    Hiya,
Flowmeter, water indicator or no water coming in is the normal causes of this one. (Flowmeter normally changes from 6 to 7).

Well, finally got a good look at this thing today, valve is definately opening, pump operates at start of prog & continues, then the valve opens & i can see the flow meter spinning like crazy when i shine my torch on it, but still the prog aborts after a short time filling, with 6 flashes, dont think it changes to 7 though 😕

Took diaphragm switch off side of sump & tested with meter, seems fine, closed circ when blown into. Tightened connections on flow meter plug.
Soooo.. i GUESS i i gotta try a new fill matrix/ flow meter assembly?? Only i want to cure it on second visit otherwise it just gets bloody embarrassing 😯

    Any further thoughts chaps..? Thanks.

Sometimes i just transfer PCB from newmatrix to old for an easy fix.
reed switch stuck. no pulses on meter when magnet passes wheel during filling.

Cheers simon, thought it must be reed sw or summit wonky on little pcb, i’ll go back with a flow meter assembly brimming with confidence then 🙂

PS. Looking at your pic, i think we must be related 😯

i have changed the reed switch on these a lot cheaper than full matrix .have also come across bad connection on main pcb! 💡

Cheers Galway, did remove all connections on board when i was there just to eliminate the possibility. Yep, i’ll keep the old flow meter when i go back to the job & have a play with it. Think i heard Maplins are a source of these reed switches??
