Went to this job today!!! When you switch the machine on after selecting a program it starts to fill with water then the front panel starts flashing like a christmas tree. The fault code NTC flashes, 3and 4. It continues to flash and lets water in but won’t switch off except when you turn it off at the socket. None of the front panel buttons appear to be sticking. Any clues would be appreciated. Is it the board, and what is NTC?

NTC stands for negative temperature coefficient, the temperature sensor which is built into the heating element. These don’t often go wrong but it is worthwile checking it plus the continuity of it’s wiring to the module. Could well be another module failure, which are quite common on these machines. Might be worth talking to the folk at EMW.

I agree NTC rarely fail, there usually on low volt side, no stress on them.

Usually a mod fault or wiring issue to module.
