Hi – I am wondering what to buy. It seems my Hotpoint dishwasher will not be economic to fix and the engineer said he thought Miele was the best with Siemans and Bosch behind.

Miele G1222SC – bit pricey and am worried about repair costs. But recommended on this site. Does not do half load – this isn’t essential to me but is something I have used on my old dishwasher when needed (being only two of us – though normally I justw ait until it is full). And not so keen on the idea of the cutler tray. Seems a bit fiddly. Like the idea of the air drying though £599

Siemans – Siemans SN25M230GB – has half load. Like the look of the vario drawer (maybe this is the same as the Miele cutlery rack in which case I don’t think it might be fiddly!)
    £512

Siemans SN25M230UK – cheaper option but without half load. £479

All three have 5 year guarantee offers. Personally I am swaying towards the SN25M230GB because I like the features on it more than the Miele. Thanks for any advice anyone can offer.

Just editing to add I have also now seen a Miele G1143SC for £529. This one doesn’t have a panel to tell you how long you have left to go though. I’m not sure how important I wuld find that. I’m very confused!

Just an update on this. My local independent says they can do the siemans SN25M230GB for £509 including delivery, installation and taking away the old one, so I am definately leaning towards this option.

Siemens( spellcheck ) is the way forward, plus cheaper servicing (should the need ever arise)……. 😉

Thanks for the input, Martin. And the spelling correction. I suppose there were worse ways I could spell it 😳 😆
