ParticipantHi Everyone,
I hope to only make 1 forum entry as I hope to get confirmation that an ISE 10 washing machine is the way forward.
My Hotpoint has broken down (slight leak) and the missus wants a new machine – it’s lleft to me. Money is not an issue, just want one that cleans adequatley and will last more than 5 years.
Couple of questions (which may get answered by the ISE chap who writes loads on this site or is it the UKW chap? Can’t remeber)
1. Is the ISE the best washing machine avaliable with a COMPLETE 10 year guarantee – meaning if it breaks down/needs repair EVERYTHING will be done free of charge : NO SMALL PRINT EXCLUSIONS!
2. Where is my nearest dealer (I am Grays Essex RM16 area, outskirts of East London by Dartford Bridge/Lakesdie Shopping Centre, Thurrock). The 2 retailers on the website – 1 doesn’t answer the phone the other is relocating and said he doesn’t do them anymore (WHY?).
3. Should I stick with the well known brands MIELE/SIEMENS/LG german brands.
I need to decide by tomorrow as the missus is coming back from holiday next week, and she wants to clean her clothes when she gets back (she blames me for breaking the machine!!) otherwise there will be trouble!
Please confirm my almost made up mind to buy a ISE10 (unless anew machine is imminent) or not.
Cheers,

Answers –
Question 1 – Yes to all bits.
Question 2 – We now have in place home delivery and installation if you cant find a local supplier.
Question 3 – Up to you Miele & Siemens are both good but guarantees need checking – see your own queston. LG are Korean.Do we like it?? Me as the engineer think it’s the dogs, the missus who uses it thinks it magic. 😀

Good to hear it I’m sure you will not be disappointed however, I have been asked to point out (from the bosses) that yes you have a full ten year warranty covering parts and labour BUT if you call out an ISE engineer and the fault is found to be of YOUR making ie a coin in the drain pump or someone switched the water off etc, then a small charge will be levied. The ten year guarantee covers all electro-mechanical faults but NOT customer errors.

LOL. I took 25p out of the drain pump of ours yesterday. It is very very easy to empty.

Hi Baloo,
I think from your location that you may have been trying to contact me, Rons Repairs. I am close to you in Hornchurch in fact. I have had some family illness recently and have not always been able to answer the phone. However I have retuned all calls to customers who have left a message. Please try me again if you still need help. If I cant take your call, be sure to leave me a message.
