    The machine works providing the push button on / off switch is depressed.

    Take the pressure off of the push button and the machine dies, however it remembers where within the program it was.

    Any suggestions as to how to diagnose the fault?

    My live in ‘man about the house’. Is convinced it’s a more serious prob’ however given the fact he has never used the machine…

    I reckon it is merely the on / off switch………..
