    Need help. Have got a Zanussi ZX77/5SI Serial No 20300009 Prod. Code 928405213 Frost free fridge freezer which is not doing a defrost cycle so evap. freezes solid . Can anybody give any advice as to what is causing this, or any resistance readings . Have tested defrost element seems to be ok .

    Haven’t got my tds disc to hand so don’t know if the F/F has a mechanical or pcb defrost timer but my next step would be checking that the defrost timer is working.

    Thanks for trying to help but this model does not have a mechanical timer.
    Is there any way to check pcb, or any way to check any sensors etc.
