    Hi,
    My F&P 608 keeps losing power suddenly during the cycle. Usually during spin. To reset it I just take the power off (unplug) for about a minute or so and it works again. There doesn’t seem to be a fault code – no lights when going through diagnostic procedure (at least not when hold and slow spin are lit).

    A couple of months back I replaced both inlet valves and in the process got some water in to spots that water should not go. This tripped the circuit breaker in the house but didn’t seem to do any lasting damage (well, I thought so). After it was dried out and I fiddled with things it went ok again although I did get an out-of-balance error at one stage – traced to a loose connection which fixed it.

    Given this power loss is happening during spin I assume it is balance related but not sure how to fix.

    More than likely the drain pump
    PUMP Forms part of the power circuit
    Pump has a thermal cut out that resets after afew minutes when pump cools down

    Ok, but the machine won’t start again until I’ve taken the power off it – which is usually hours or at least quite a while since it cut out. So that doesn’t sound like a thermal cutout which is resetting.

    I’ll check it out anyway.
