There is a possibility that some of the last production run of the BEKO supplied machine has a modified rear drum half and soap dispenser.

Serial No:s 07-******-09 are most likely.

On some of these the vent hose from the dispenser to the top of the outer drum has been eliminated.

It is essential to make sure when ordering or changing a rear drum half that you check to see which type of drum the machine has. A suitable bung in the top of the rear drum half outlet will suffice if you are fitting the standard rear drum half to a late production model.

Failure to do this will result in a serious leak that will not show up on a wet test. It will only manifest itself when spinning with a load of clothes in the machine.

    Jim.

I’m sure when I ordered a backhalf I was asked if the old one was white or grey?

    Maybe thats your problem???
