fagor oven & whirlpool side by side

Hello I posted this question on wednesday but it seems to be lost in the system ?.The first problem is with a Fagor oven 5H 197 (90101513) when trying to select any temp over 175 C the oven display shuts down clock reverts back to 12:00 & its time to start again.Same symptoms as overheat stat being reached.Im wondering if its a t/stat limiter switch or timer pcb board at fault. second problem is a Whirlpool side by side FRSS2VAF20/0 the air diffuser is stuck open.Even when the fridge is turned off on the control panel.Is it poss to check the diffuser (3 way connector block) & could it be the control board or t/stat probe.Any help would be appreciated thanks Mack.
