This thing is about 3 yrs old, on any wash it fills to first level on press sw & just stops, no flashing lights or anything, everything looks normal apart from no drum movement.

Tried pulling wires off heater & connecting them to a spare one but same result, the machines heater has continuity & i couldnt get it to leak to earth. Strange thing is, it will rinse & spin normally 😕
    Anyone seen this before??

    Thanks, Eddie.

After it’s filled are you getting 240 through to the heater terminals?

Do you know what Martin, i was in such a rush to get finished (6pm on sat eve 🙁 ) i didnt think to check! I certainly didnt see my spare ele starting to glow in the couple of mins after fill.
Are you thinking relay prob on board?? would that stop the drum though. Strange one 😕

What are you like eh? Plugging in an element? Where’s your test meter?….come on….have you left it at that gorgeous blond’s house again!….I bet you have?….you’ll just have to go back there and discuss whereabouts you might have left it?:snigger:

I do actually have one of those Martin..(a meter..not a gorgeous blonde!) but thought the machine might get sniffy about not havin a 2k load on & misbehave itself, hence my spare heater idea 😯

I dunno, i think i’ll have to pop back & drag the PCB off for a proper look. This workload is gettin on my t*ts, one week its so busy theres no time to breathe & i’m workin on a sat eve, rushing jobs, next week its DEAD.

Anyway.. thats my prob 🙂 😥
