I’m not sure how old it is but probably only around 3-4 years and it’s stopped working. When powered up the red triangle warning light comes on with no other sign of life/
A new, replacement model looks to be around £200 so I thought I’d ask here first – are they worth repairing? Does anyone repair them?
if there was no burning smell or horrible noises from the motor its certainly worth getting it looked at. we repair them but iam not sure where you are.

thanks – we probably couldn’t be that much further apart in the UK! 🙂 I’m in Falkirk, Scotland. Is a replacement motor a reasonable price and easily replaced?
miele motors are usually expensive but if there was no burn smell or noise its probably something else. not sure of anyone in Fulkirk that repairs vacuums.
sounds daft but mieles have these new hy-clean bags that get clogged with fine dust really quickly and make the bag unserviceable, but are never more that half full!
have you cleaned all your filters and tried a new clean bag to see if you get the same problem?
