    Hi All,

    Looking for some help with the washing machine. The Drum wont move so I took the panel off the back and found the belt was broke. Any ideas? If I dont get it fixed soon I am a dead man. I cant really afford to get an engineer at the moment and I am a mechanic so I should be able to manage. Could it be the bearings? Or does this machine have one of these sealed drums that I have just been reading about? Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

    Unlikely….bearing failure hardly ever results in a seized drum, far more likely you’ve ‘lost’ a piece of clothing behind the drum which will wedge it quite effectively. Have a really good look through the holes in the drum with a torch to find it then retrieve it as best you can possibly even taking a hose off the tub for access. Destroying a wire coat hanger and using that sometimes helps 😉
