Dont know if this should be here or tech forum.
Hi i have been here today when the cust tried to change the water filter and after refitting it started flooding out.i have been today and took the filter holder body off it seems to twist together and there was a bit of metal hanging from it.when reassembled the filter does not seem to lock into place.has anyone got a exploded diagram of this model.cheers chris

Had one do the same a few weeks ago and had to fit a new filter holder.
The original was held together with two metal spring clips but it would seem that one was missing when the appliance was assembled and the factory had bodged it with some sticky tape!
The replacement was different assembly with twist and lock fitting and a better fit.
Repair bill was into three figs so customer not best pleased and I left him taking photographs for his complaint letter to Whirlpool.Steve

thanks for reply steve mine is the same some sticky tape wrapped around it Currys have agreed to pay under this new eu guarantee thing which there was a report in the weekend papers where things have to be fit for purpose or something.you aint got any part numbers around?
