    I have been asked for a dishwasher that’s less than 83cm in height.

    I know most machines are a standard 85cm high but with some makes it’s possible to remove the lid to reduce the height however with other models the top tube can prevent this as an option.

    This is for a rented property so the landlord doesn’t want to spend too much!

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Bosch are the only ones I know of currently, it reduces the height down to 81.5cm, I have checked Indesit, Beko, Hotpoint and Zanussi current models but with no luck I`m afraid. so it seems landlord may have to dig a little deeper as the basic model with the height reduction option is the SMS50E12GB has a two year warranty as well.

    The only other suggestion would be to install a budget built in machine and add a door to it.

    Thanks for the information I was thinking it was more than likely going to be a Bosch minus the lid.

    I think I should be able to persuade the landlord this is the best option.
