I am having a problem with my Firenzi DW930. Last week there was a lot of water sitting in the dishwasher because of a blocked pipe outside. I have since cleared the blockage.

The dishwasher kept tripping my electrics (RCD) and when I pulled the dishwasher out the power cord looked as if it was damaged slightly and this has been replaced along with a new plug.

Now my dishwasher starts beeping on start up and the green start light flashes in a 2 light sequence? Any ideas on why this might be happening? (This happened before I replaced the cord as well.)

    Many thanks in advance.

F2 on this Whirlpool-built machine suggests that there is water in the tray under the appliance. However, this machine is not fitted with the flood protection/detection float switch which would signal to the pcb. I suspect that you have some sort of corruption issue with the computer board.

It may be as well to consider professional help at this point – there is unlikely to be a simple (or cheap!) solution to this one.
