customer tells me when cooking, the outside of food (cakes) are burnt but the inside undercooked… she tells me the stat is turning on/off and fan are working.
she can test tempreture herself…does this sound like a stat fault !! or please advise !!
assuming its a fan oven and the fan and element are working then its probably not at fault. If its the small under counter double oven then that is pretty much as good as it gets. Need to pre-heat for a good 30 mins before cooking to get anything like the correct temperature despite the stat cycling off and on. Used to get loads of complaints like this back in the MFI days, customer usually got the hang of it in the end.
