Last night my Hotpoint WD420 stopped draining water. I opened her up unblocked the filter of coins and plastic and cleared the pump fans of tangled rubber bands.
Once done the water drained fine on the Pump Out cycle. Now, on the first try, however the machine won’t wash. It sounds like it runs water through the tablet tray twice and then nothing more happens. Its almost as if the machine can’t get more water but everything is turned on and the pump and filter are clear. Should I kick it?

I put the machine on last night and left it to find this morning, 7 hours later, that it was still in the wash / pumping out cycle and wouldnt move on to spin. However the drum still revolved so theres no motor problems….is this something I can sort out myself?
I find it ironic that I mend the pump problem only to find now that it ONLY wants to pump out
