    Hi all

    I am a plumber by trade since 1996 and over the past 2 years being doing washing machine repairs. (i was suprised by so many requests as i was a plumber) well infact ive repaired now 100 machines from simple blockages to full bearing changes and basicaly over the past 3 months i dont seem to get much plumbing work mainly washer repair jobs coming in. So guys basically im looking for help in starting up full time in the repairs business and leaving the plumbing as a sideline to it as more work that way please anyone got any good advice please

    If you got a chance to read the trade forums you will find most engineers in there moaning about the lack of work and how they might take up plumbing. 😉


    Its a bit of a sore point in our trade when customers ring up, knowing they want their washing machine repairing and say, “is that the plumber”, it happens quite a lot :rolls:

    Have you any electrical experience or training?

    You could ask for Trade Access

    Wether or not that would be granted is for the the web site administration to decide.

    thanks for your reply.

    well let the lads know there is no point going into plumbing work is dead everyone realy undercutting each other plus loads of plumbers from europe doing bathrooms for 75.00.

    I will try get into trade forums.

    basic electrics but ive done alot latley with fault finding on washing machines.

    look for a polish plumber trust me they will do it at that price some are charging more but note that only the plumbing not tiling etc
