ParticipantBelling IDW604 integrated dishwasher. Manufactured 2007.
This machine is leaking at the door lower edge. With the door outer skin removed the water splashes out from between the inner skin and the tub lip right at the corner. I know that water can flow across the front of the door lower seal and normally doesn’t cause a problem, but this is splashing out the side gap with some force. 😕 The seal on the bottom of the door is a little distorted, although not that bad, but I can’t see anything else that could be at fault. The door skin and the seal seem to be supplied as one item – is that correct? BTW, the rotors are clear of debris and rotate freely.
Any help please!!
Steve.

look inside the problematic side within the d/w.
had one once were the tub had a half inch split in it at a seem.
worth a look, also the lower seals outer edges do wear over time with all the opening and shutting of the door, may need changing tbh.June 30, 2009 at 9:51 pm #290705gav28

Ditto gav28, Split bottom spray arms are a common cause of this fault on several different manufacturers machines.
It sets up a wave motion inside the tub and pours over the edge.

I had that on a DF53 Hotpoint – a split rotor that caused a huge flood. These, however are stainless steel rotors; the only thing I did notice was 2 holes in the edge of the rotor. The holes were very small: about 1.5mm across, situated just above the joint seam on either side down the middlle of the lower rotor. Couldn’t fathom why they were there…….??

Check the seal where the top basket spray arm feed goes into rear of dishwasher. Had one perished and it sprayed downwards under door.
