    Hi,
    Had this machine to look at (sloping front job). Machine is dead, but the orange power light is lit. No other lights are displayed at all. Have only visually checked control board, main pcb and ac/dc module ok. Checked motor, heater and changed door lock for good measure but with no luck. Has anyone had this fault. Have seen another thread with same fault but with no outcome. Suspect the main pcb but as I’ll have to order it in, I could do with confirmation.

    Try the connections to the user interface (fascia PCB) – they loosen off and become oxidized so the machine appears dead. Remove the fascia, unscrew and pop the PCB out of its location. Clean the edge connector and gently crimp the plug with pliers to tighten it. Refit and test. You should now have a display. If you have a display, you can run the diagnostics. 😉

    Just to finish this one for reference. Tried tightening and cleaning cable connectors and plugs, no joy. Fitted new pcb and all is well.
