    Hi, we have an integrated Screiber APP6302 that is 2.5 years old.

    This week it has gradually stopped cooling, to the point now where it has given up completely.

    I’ve searched on here for similar problems and have seen that the thermostat is a common problem. I’ve tried to eliminate it as a fault by bypassing it, and the fridge still isn’t cooling.

    The fan is running constantly (blowing what feels like cool air out of the back), and the light working, and the compressor seems to be getting very hot.

    Any suggestions would be welcome.

    Can anyone help? I’m about to begrudgingly spend £200 on a new fridge!

    Hi Tom,

    It sounds like a classic compressor failure on one of those, usually because the installer didn’t vent it correctly.

    There’s really nothing else to go wrong bar the stat and the compressor if the cooling fan is running.
