KeymasterIndeed, these buggers are all starting to really piss me off the more I look at it. Basically, the way I see it, they’re taking the piss out us and taking *OUR* money straight off us before we even see it.
Added to which they expect us to finance their operations by buying stupidly over-priced spares and in turn, financing their own operations.
IMHO, virtually none of them would survive if they had to totally self-finance their own operations. For example Candy loses about £250K a month from service, until they add spares sales to it and then it either breaks even or shows a small profit. Yet they expect us, via JTM or direct to do calls for almost nothing, hence I told them to stuff it.

KeymasterBeing pissed off
Hi Kenneth
When you read this answer I will probably be in bed so here goes:
Join forces with me and my associates to attack each individual service provider, correction leech, in turn systematically.
Hypothetically we need to discuss in conjunction with Scoggins (who btw can’t access this room, the valves on his system take to long to warm up) how we can co-ordinate a total UK wide stoppage of work for one of the providers. We attack one at a time en bloc giving the provider nowhere else to go. Yes it’ll take some organising (I’m free soon 😆 ) and I will certainly make up a duo or larger number. You will appreciate the position I’ve just been in and I can live quite comfortably with attacking providers I’m not feeding from.
I will not work for GB Dar, JTM Services (Andy Craw aka lying B*stard) to name but a couple.
I hope this site is as secure as you say otherwise I might have to throw Andy Craw & his sidekick out of my office a second time.
Viva the revolution!

Yes, this forum can only be seen by site admin, myself and Dave Conway as well as those that have specific access granted. Other than that no-one can even see it exists let alon access it as it is totally hidden from view from anyone else.

ParticipantI’m leading them up the garden path at the moment.
A week or so ago I recieved the standard letter offering work, which I promptly edited by crossing out £30 and £38 (gas) rates and replacing it with a more realistic figure of £40 and £50 (gas) and scribbled out the bit where it says ‘I MUST buy all my Servis spares from GB dar’. It then got faxed back.
TBH I fully expected it to end up in the bin, but I had a phone call today from them to discuss the matter 😯
I was told the rates are non negotiable, so I asked why they were phoning me 😉
I asked “do you have a coverage problem in our area ?” ” Yes !” was the reply, “mainly in EX postcodes”. So I pushed further, “if you’re that desperate the rates are negotiable” “Oh we’re not THAT desperate, but would you like me to send you the information pack ?”
I’m pissing myself by now, but the information pack, whatever that might be is on it’s way. I’ll see if I can push them on the rates thing, if nothing else it’s a good f*ckin’ laugh.

ParticipantI did exactly the same Dave, But I’ve not had a reply , P.S. I also asked for 60 days credit, full spares returns, extra for drum and system jobs and my invoices to be paid in 30 days, with no reduced rate for BER’s.

There’s an issue that seems to have raised it’s head again this week.

GB Dar sent me an e-mail the other week. They must have forgot I threw them out 3 years ago.
My reply was to the tune of £42 per call plus £10 add on for gas, as well as my own control of spares and no reconciliation on their parts. Plus no pre-booked calls as well as exclusivity of the work. I knew they would say no, and they did. In fact I was surprised they even answered. I would have been buggered if they were willing to talk.
2 of my staff used to work for Kevin Moat, they have some stories. By the way I found that he is the director of 5 companies. Not that there is a connection with the above of course.
