ParticipantHi,
I fitted part no 492685 (Module-PCB) to a Bosch dishwasher some weeks ago now, no problem with the part. But the customer has rung me telling me that the programmes are mixed up. Rinse washing hot, etc. Now I know that some of the PCB’s come with a configuration sheet to set the programmes upto the correct button positions but this one didnt.
I presumed it was already setup. Can anybody please help me with either instructions or a sheet to show me how to do it.
This is a not digital display version.
The lady is not happy and BSH wont help because I’m not an agent of theirs and I bought it from Qualtex who are less than useless and dont know what i’m talking about.Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Nick

The module does come pre-configured so no set up required. 🙂
Your comment about the pre-rinse washing hot suggests that either you may have put the rubber button markers on incorrectly or it ain’t the right module for the machine? Just to clarify the latter could you give us the Enr no. of the machine in question?

Hi,
The e’nr is SE6TIE2GB/42. I thought it was preconfigured. I dont think I could have mixed up the buttons because they come off in one strip on a rubber sheet that fixes to the new one, so I have a feeling that they might have sent me the wrong one.
If you could possibly check for me I would be very greatful.Cheers

No the module is the correct one for that model and it doesn’t require setting up either. You don’t need to set-up the salt setting on these either as they default to the normal regeneration level anyway.
So, as long as the programme buttons show that Prerinse is on the far right, then you can take it that the module is OK.
Incidentally the Enr Number you gave refers to a Tecnik dishwasher and not a Bosch, just to clarify further. 😉
One final thought? Correct mounting of the module in the metal fascia slot is important and as far as I recall there are at least 2 positions that it can slot into? I’m not sure if it is possible in this case to misalign the module so that the prewash button is mistaken for the quickwash button? Maybe – dunno? 😕

Thanks for helping Martin. Yes I know its a Tecnik model, no problem, just for simplicities sake I said BSH.
I’m going to go and have a look at it later this week and see if it has been fitted right or if its possible a couple of the buttons have swapped places. Thanks again
