    lady wakes up in the morning does a normal 40 degree wash load, not a problem.
    she then decides to do a second wash,sets to 40 degree wash press start machine fills does a couple of revolutions then wash indicator light moves to drain,just stops and door unlocks.
    mucho lots of time later machine works normally again,
    Question,,,, is something getting to hot, and needs time to cool,if yes what is that something,please dont say board,lol.
    anyone come across this before,in need of guidance.

    Motor carbons or shorting armature would be the first place to look….. 😉
    Run the diagnostics; this machine uses the EWM2000 PCB so that should give you a last fault code. It’s important to remember the amount of EWM2000 PCB’s that have been fried by faulty door interlocks, so look at the interlock carefully for any signs of burning; if in doubt, change it.

    cheers for the help will run diagnostics when i get there today and will check out your suggestions,
    been to a few that have been fried,but not one with these symptons, thanks once again.

    replaced analogical pressure switch which seemed to cure the problem. but a few months down the line am back to square one, any more thoughts on this matter appreciated.

    Further to Steve’s thoughts on your problem earlier in this thread……what is the state of the motor like anyway? I have to say that any earth leak probs with the motor can give these symptoms as a rule.

    Have you run the diagnostic? If so, what was the last recorded fault code?

    cant remember what diagnostics revealed, will run it again, and will check motor monday am.
