    model se2640tc,
    i fitted a new glass top as customer cracked the old one, once fitted and powerd up all the hob plate digits show 8 and the on/off + lock button lights up, there is n o response from any of the buttons but the on/off will bleep and you can here a relay click, any help pleeeassssseeee,

    Mike, I fitted new glass top to a hotpoint…had simular fault the glass wasnt touching the sensors correctly..refitted again….ok. John
