Thank you for your e-mail regarding the price of appliance spares.
We have not looked at this subject but it is certainly something we may well address in the future. We are very grateful to you for taking the time and trouble to detail your experiences and they will be drawn to the attention of our research staff working on reports in this area. If we need any further information to assist us in the preparation of our future reports we will be in touch.
We do keep all correspondence and this helps us to monitor matters so that we can direct our campaigning to the areas that will have the greatest benefit to all consumers.

TBH I’ve always had an issue with ‘Which’.
Over the years they have recommended many an appliance as the best buy, which, after no long term trial turns out to be a bag of shite, certain Candy models come to mind a few years ago among others.
What pisses me off even more is they are now using the Readers Digest approach to increase magazine sales by telling you “you have already come through the first stage of the prize draw” Ring any bells ?

No, Which have pissed me off in the past as well but they do reach a *LOT* of people and have a lot of clout with the media and the OFT etc. 😉
