    CDA CW446 slimline dishwasher. (Whirlpool). 8545 866 15000. 99 0425 15620. Typ. 12155.

I haven’t seen one like this before. It looks oriental…… 🙁 The fault is intermittent to start with, but once the machine has filled and drained, the fault starts and continues until the machine is switched off. It pulses the fill valve and the pump alternately and will progress no further. Tried reset, no water in the base, no leaks, heater perfect (meggered fine), motor strong and pump working OK on its own. Pressure system clear and the pressure switch works the valve and motor when activated by blowing.
The only thing I can think is left is the PCB – on inspection there are no signs of burning or water damage at all.

Any ideas? It’s a weird fault!

    Steve.

As it sets in after first drain phase it might be syphoning?

Check the water sensor in the sump its a grid on the r/h side and the sensor is behind. This can be removed from the sump with the plinth off.
I experienced where it would fill and then abort the programme before circulate. It was not sensing the water and cutting off.
