    I have changed many regulators before without any problems but this is causing me some problems.

    2 x origianl Diamond H reg 31ER14MHT

    S
    P1
    2
    P2

    The new ones 41ER101C1P

    P1 – LINE
    P2 – PILOT
    2 – LOAD
    4A- NEUTRAL

    I have linked P1 to 4 but with and without this is is still staying on.

    Problem I am getting is the pilot light is constantly on, with or with the link wire. I have tried different combinations but no luck.

    Any ideas or is this the wrong regulator?

    Cheers

    31ER terminals:-

    Live in = P1.
    Load = 2.
    Pilot = S. Switched at S, through the lamp and back to Neutral P2.
    Neutral = P2

    41ER terminals:-

    Live in = P1.
    Load = 2.
    Pilot = P2.
    Neutral = 4A. This double tag will have the main Neutral wire on it AND the return from the pilot lamp.
    Link wire fitted between P1 and 4 to supply power to pilot lamp switch. P2 to 4) Power is switched from P2 through the lamp and back to Neutral 4A.
    This has to work or the regulator could be faulty. Test meter on 4 and P2 – turn the regulator on and you should get continuity.

    HTH,

    Steve.
