    Have a RS21 Icemaker which ice cubes not releasing from tray.

    Fills water to correct level, freezing down but when twisting to release does not drop them, instead tray returns to it normal position then fills with water, hence leaks water inside freezer.

    What could be causing this?

    are ice cubes too hard?

    Have told customer to change filter as it never been done.

    Temperature Is set at -20.

    Any suggestions please?

    possibily tray not twisting enough.. i would have a guess that ice maker assy faulty, we do a lot of samsung and normally changing ice maker cures these type of faults..

    I find it is usually the support holder for ice maker it breaks at the back not allowing tray to twist.
